Happy almost Friday, everyone! Last week, I spent the day at Melrose place in West Hollywood. This area is probably one of my favorite places to hang out in Los Angeles because parking is relatively easy, and there are plenty of things to do there including shopping and getting your caffeine fix at Alfred Tea Room. Although I love to stay busy and work, sometimes I crave for days that aren’t planned. I call them my lazy days! It’s when I don’t have to go off of a schedule and I can just walk around and do whatever my heart desires lol. My days unplanned have often times led to going out the door empty handed without my purse! We all know how awkward it can be asking someone to pay for you because you accidentally left your debit card at home. And I don’t know about you, but I almost never carry cash anymore! Thank goodness for apps like Square Cash that makes life so convenient!
I discovered the Square Cash app about a year ago through my makeup artist. In the past, I paid her with checks until one day I used up all the checks in my check book and only had my debit card on me. She mentioned that she uses Square for her business and I can transfer the money instantly from my phone without any fees. It’s like having real cash except it’s easier. Since then I have been using Square to send and receive money from my friends and family! I’m not sure how I went through so long without money sharing apps. Where has it been all my life?! They seriously always save the day! It’s so much easier to split bills this way too. I’ve actually been to a few restaurants with a group of friends where the restaurant doesn’t allow separate checks or using multiple cards. Before Square App one of us would pay the entire bill for everyone and just spot the other person next time we have dinner. Unless we happened to carry cash (which is so rare lol) then we just end up paying the other person back later on. Since Square, IOU’s have officially been removed from my vocabulary. Unlike other apps that I’ve tried, the funds transferred are available within 24 hours and it’s more private. The world doesn’t have to know that you were out at 3 in the morning transferring money to a friend for drinks at a bar. 😉 Have you tried Square app? If you are just finding out about it, thank me later!
Also, for those of you that’s been asking about where I got my iPhone case- I designed this on my own at Skinit. Of course I had to add my palm trees and love how my name is printed on it! Use my code: AIKO for 20% off your order at Skinit.com
Thank you so much Square Cash and Her Campus Media for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.
