I’ve been to Cancun 3 times now and I have to say, I’m bummed that I didn’t find out about this hotel much sooner. Oh Le Blanc, where do I even start? First of all, who knew that you can put “all inclusive” and “luxury” in one sentence. While Le Blanc isn’t necessarily the most inexpensive hotel you will find, you really get your money’s worth. From the service, to the food, to the ambiance and just the overall feeling you get from staying here- it’s truly priceless.
Le Blanc is a 5 diamond hotel which has also been rated as Cancun’s #1 All Inclusive Resort by TripAdvisor. As I mentioned earlier, Le Blanc is all inclusive, meaning ALL food and drinks are included in the price of the stay.
I loved the all white minimalist exterior and modern and airy feel. It felt like a dream every time we stepped in the premises. Upon checking in to the hotel we were greeted with a warm towel, delicious coconut drinks and beautiful flowers. We also got a nice tour of our room (video tour coming soon) and there is a 24/7 butler service. (yes, butler)! There is a butler on every floor of the hotel and they go above and beyond to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Some of their duties include pillow service (where you can choose from several different pillows such as orthopedic, goose down, lavender scented, etc.) as well as running your private in-room jacuzzi with scented bath salts, restaurant bookings, and unpacking your luggage.
The service here is truly top notch. To give you an example, Ramiro and I were craving fresh coconuts on our second day there so we asked our server at the beach if they had any, not knowing if the resort even offered those. The server was really apologetic for not having any for us, but mentioned he will talk with management about getting fresh coconuts the next day. Without fail, we walk by the pool area the next day and noticed a team of 3-5 people cutting up fresh coconuts for all the guests! That was the cherry on top and such a refreshing way to enjoy our last day!
This resort is rested in the heart of Cancun, which is about 30 minutes from the airport. Many shops near by including, La Isla which is arguably Cancun’s prettiest and most luxurious mall. On top of being in the center of town, Le Blanc’s beach which is only a few steps from the resort is just stunning. The white sands are so powdery and the turquoise beach is unreal. When we were not at the resort we were swimming and getting our tan on by the water.
The hotel includes a total of 5 restaurants among them is BlancAsia which is their spin on Japanese Cuisine. They have an incredible menu with vegetarian options. We ordered the same thing almost every night which included fried rice, mango and yuzu salad, and their vegetarian roll topped with fried plantain and sweet and sour sauce. Yum!
If you’re looking for pure luxury and an experience that you’ll never forget for as long as you live, I HIGHLY recommend staying at Le Blanc Spa Resort. The service was unbelievable and the staff was absolutely gracious. This won’t be our last time in Le Blanc. They are doing renovations in July and will re-open again after 6 months. I am looking forward to being there at the grand opening!
