Happy mid-week everyone! This is my first camo post ever. Before I started blogging and when I still lived in Seattle, I used to wear a lot of camouflage print and for no reason at all, I just stopped wearing it. It’s been so long that when I put on this outfit, my photographer was in shock and said “wow you’re wearing green!” haha.
I spotted this faded camo skirt from Century 21 and suddenly remembered how much I loved this color and print. I also gave in on this blush bodysuit to go along with it mainly because I think blush and camo are two combinations that are a match made in heaven. Deep inside I also knew that camo is a versatile piece I could wear all year long. I know I say the word versatile on this site a little too much but it’s essential for me. When I really like a particular piece I tend to live it in Most of the time before I purchase something, I always ask myself how many different ways can I wear this piece?
When I was browsing through Century 21 website I was pleasantly surprised to find so many brand name items for a fraction of the retail price. They pretty much had most of the luxury high fashion name brands you can imagine from Gucci, Céline, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent and more. It was one of the first time I was able could splurge a little without feeling guilty I ended up getting a pair of Gucci sunglasses, a few pairs of shoes and of course this faded camo skirt which was originally $99 but got it for $25. Though it’s very flattering and the details on the skirt are absolutely beautiful, I recommend going a size down if possible. I think every gal needs at least one piece of camouflage item in their closet! It’s the perfect year round print.
