Happy Tuesday, loves! This Cabo post is long overdue. On October 27th, Ramiro and I flew out to Cabo to celebrate my birthday there. He secretly planned this entire trip a week before and I am so glad he did because this has easily been one of my favorite vacations so far. This was our first time in Cabo and I loved the short 2 hour flight from LAX.
Over two years ago, I saw photos of this hotel on Instagram and I was blown away. I instantly fell in-love with the modern, yet futuristic and minimalist architecture. I put this down on my memory bank of places to visit one day and I showed photos to Ramiro and told him that I really wanted to go here. So happy he listens to me sometimes (LOL, I’m just kidding!) I don’t think I’ve ever seen any hotels that looked like this! We stayed at Mar Adentro and it was the most incredible experience!
Upon checking in, we were greeted with a refreshing pomegranate drink, then the staff took us to tour the property. This was the view from our room! It was truly breathtaking! The room also featured an outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor and indoor tables and an electric curtain. Haha we thought it was the coolest thing ever!
Besides visiting Lover’s Beach in Los Cabos we spent the majority of our time relaxing, taking photos and eating. I have to admit, it was hard for us to put our cameras down for long period of time. Every corner is so unique in every way possible that we felt the need to take photos of every little details we saw!
It’s been over a year now since Ramiro and I became vegetarians and we always thought that it would be tricky finding vegetarian options especially out of the country. Surprising, all of the restaurants we went to had a variety of plant-based options. Every morning we ate fruits and pancakes. For lunch and dinner we usually ordered veggie fajitas and enchiladas.
This hotel feels like heaven on earth. It’s the most sophisticated, modern hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I am so grateful that I got to spend my birthday here.
I wish the photos could do justice- but this is worth checking out for yourself. It’s so much more beautiful in person! Make sure you watch our Cabo Vlog for more! Youtube.com/aikocunanan
Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Cabo is insanely beautiful and three days there just wasn’t enough. We are thinking of going somewhere next month, but haven’t confirmed anything yet! Where should we visit next? Thanks for reading. Love y’all!
